At 09:00, the 5th Annual Symposium of the Procedural Law Unit will happen at the UNESCO Amphitheater of the University of Nicosia. The topic is “Judicial Independence and Liberal Democracy Under Threat: The Challenge of Implementing the ELI Mt Scopus Standards on Judicial Independence”.
Right after that, from 10:30 to 11:30, as part of the “Christmas in the Capital” program, the Choir of the Evangelismos Special School will spread holiday cheer with Christmas songs at Ledra & Onasagorou Opening in Nicosia.
In the afternoon, at 18:00, two fun events will bring a festive vibe to Larnaca and Lympia. In Larnaca, the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra will perform the family concert “Suzy and Christmas Around the World” at the Municipal Theater G. Lykourgos. At the same time, Lympia Municipal Park will be buzzing with Christmas Lympia Town, featuring an artistic program and concert organized by the Municipality of South Nicosia – Idalion, United Youth of Lympia, and Lympia Municipal District.
