A tragic road accident happened on Thursday night in Nicosia. It took the life of 15-year-old Hosh Mustafa from Syria.
The crash occurred around 9:15 p.m. on Iphigenia Avenue in Strovolos. Hosh was riding a motorcycle with a 17-year-old passenger when they collided with a car driven by a 39-year-old. The motorcycle then hit a parked vehicle.
Both young men were seriously hurt and rushed to Nicosia General Hospital by ambulance. Sadly, despite doctors’ efforts, Hosh did not survive. The 17-year-old is in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit.
Police found out that the motorcycle had been reported stolen on March 9, 2026.
The Nicosia Traffic Police are still looking into what caused this tragedy.
