This Wednesday, December 17, the show “Free and Beautiful” on Channel 6 will present a special tribute. It focuses on the Alkinoos Artemiou Foundation and the tough challenges young cancer patients and their families face.
The Foundation started in 2021 to honor Alkinoos, a child who bravely fought bone cancer. Its mission is to help children with cancer and blood diseases. Almost five years later, its many efforts have gained respect and support from the community.
The show is hosted by Giorgos Pavlidis, who uses focused discussions to shine a light on social issues. He gives a voice to those often overlooked.
Guests in the studio will include Alkinoos’s father and founder of the Foundation, Artemis Artemiou, along with Christiana Karageorgiou, mother of a child receiving treatment at the Pediatric Oncology Clinic of Makarios Hospital.
