The day kicks off at 11:00 AM in Paralimni. The Municipality of Paralimni – Deryneia is hosting a lecture on Medical Mission in Madagascar. Archimandrite Dr. Anastasios Pogiatzis will be the speaker, and it’s happening in the Event Hall of the Municipal Mansion.
Before that, at 10:30 AM, the Pattichion Municipal Theatre in Limassol presents ‘Laugh Clown’ by Vestiarion Theatre. This performance is based on texts by Yiannis Spanos.
At 11:00 AM in Larnaca, Piccolo Theatre showcases ‘Once Upon a Country’ at the Municipal Theatre. It’s directed by Vasiliki Andreou and Marios Stylianou with a four-member cast.
In the afternoon, at 3:00 PM and 5:30 PM, Satiriko Theatre in Aglantzia stages the social play ‘Until I Stay’. This event has a strong charitable focus. All net proceeds will support medical care for stray animals. The event is under the patronage of Antonia Theodosiou, the Commissioner for Environment and Animal Welfare.
At 6:00 PM, WhereHaus 612 welcomes ETHAL and enact group with Marina Makri’s play ‘The Chandelier’. This contemporary theatre performance features a five-member cast.
At 6:30 PM in Pissouri, the club THOI ‘Saint Mauritius’ hosts an event to cut the New Year’s cake. This will include a historical reference to the union referendum of January 15, 1950.
The evening continues at 8:30 PM at Dendro Theatre with Joël Pommerat’s play ‘The Reunion of North and South Korea’. It’s directed by Onisiforos Onisiforou and features eight actors.
Finally, from 5:30 PM until midnight at Artos House, attendees can enjoy Glorious Grapes – Gear. This is a unique wine tasting experience featuring 11 wineries from Spain, Greece, and Cyprus as part of the event ‘Grapes / Sips & Scenes’.
