The Cultural Foundation of the Bank of Cyprus is hosting a free Art and Oral Storytelling workshop for families. Kids can learn about Cypriot Christmas traditions through fun activities.
Called “Depicting the Twelve Days”, this workshop lets children dive into the rich Cypriot customs of Christmas, New Year, and Epiphany. They’ll create a puzzle featuring the Nativity by Rallis Kopsidis, paint like Greek artists (Fotis Kontoglou, Grammatikopoulos), enjoy oral storytelling, act out the Vasilopita story, learn Christmas carols, and taste traditional Christmas treats.
The workshop takes place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 11:00 to 13:00 in the educational room of the Cultural Foundation of the Bank of Cyprus, Faneromenis 86–90, Nicosia. This event is organized with help from the Cyprus Police – Anti-Narcotics Service, the Pilgrimage Tours Office of the Church of Cyprus, the HELP2LIVE Charity Foundation, and the METHESIS cultural ministry office.
A team of educators and facilitators will lead the workshops. This includes an actor, a musician-educator, and an art historian. It’s free to join, but you need to reserve your spot by calling 22128175.
