A 20-year-old man has been arrested for extortion and theft involving a food delivery driver in Limassol. Police are still looking for four more suspects.
The incident happened on February 8 in the Ipsona area. A 24-year-old delivery driver crashed into another motorcyclist.
Reports say that after the crash, the second motorcyclist attacked him and demanded money for damages. Soon after, others showed up and forced him to pay.
The attackers took the 24-year-old’s phone and cash before running away. The injured driver went to the hospital, got treated, and was released the same night.
In this case, another 20-year-old is already in custody for eight days. Police have shared photos of five people to help identify them.
