Road safety issues come up from today’s checks by the Traffic Department Headquarters on electric bicycles in Nicosia.
Out of 29 electric bicycles checked, 21 were taken for not meeting important safety and legal standards. This shows a troubling situation on our roads, putting drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists at risk.
Also, during the checks, two people living illegally in Cyprus were found. Deportation procedures are already in progress.
