A 30-year-old man is fighting for his life after a serious traffic accident. It happened shortly after midnight on the Limassol–Paphos highway, heading towards Limassol.
The vehicle he was driving went off course near the exit to the village of Erimi. It crashed into a metal barrier and stopped. The impact was so strong that the man got trapped inside his car. The Fire Service had to come quickly to rescue him, and he was taken to a private hospital in Limassol.
The young man has serious injuries to his lower limbs, and doctors say his condition is very serious. The Episkopi Police Station and the Limassol Traffic Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
