A 34-year-old man, allegedly entering homes unnoticed and taking whatever he found, was arrested by the Police in Dali. In his possession were found jewelry, bank cards of other individuals, burglary tools, knives, offensive weapons, and a quantity of drugs.
The man was taken to prison for further examination while the Police continue to investigate the origin of the seized property and any other connections to thefts in the area. As the saying goes, “the clever bird is caught by its beak” – and this time the Police left no room for escape.
During the check, numerous pieces of jewelry were found and seized from the man, including silver earrings, a ring, necklaces, and crosses, as well as a woman’s watch. Additionally, bank cards in the names of five different individuals were discovered, along with two knives, offensive weapons, burglary tools, and approximately five grams of a crystalline substance considered a drug.
The 34-year-old was arrested for offenses caught in the act, including illegal possession of property being investigated for possible theft origin, possession of burglary tools, carrying knives, possession of offensive weapons, and possession of drugs. The man was detained for further police examinations.
The Perachorio Police in collaboration with YKAN (Nicosia Unit) continue investigations to trace the origin of the seized property and any connection to other theft cases in the area.
