A 52-year-old man died in a serious car crash at night in the Aradippou area, Larnaca district.
Nikos Nikolaou, from Dromolaxia, was driving on Ellados Avenue when he collided with another car. This car had two passengers, aged 68 and 34.
The Fire Service had to help get the 52-year-old out of his vehicle. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The other two were also taken to Larnaca General Hospital. The 68-year-old stayed for observation, while the 34-year-old was discharged.
The police are still investigating how the accident happened.
