Life is full of moments that touch our hearts. Recently, we witnessed such a moment thanks to kindness and support. Nine-year-old Michalis, born without a normal palm, never let anything stop his dreams. His dream to meet his favorite Omonia goalkeeper, Fabiano, finally came true.
Thanks to the show ’24 Hours Together’ and journalist Konstantinos Konstantinou, Michalis, a big fan of Omonia and Fabiano, got to connect with him. The famous goalkeeper took a break from the field to spend time with young Michalis.
He invited him for a training session — not just a game, but a ‘behind-the-scenes’ training, tough and full of lessons, so the boy could learn what goes on behind an athlete’s success. He gave him his gloves, they laughed, played soccer, and signed autographs. Michalis even scored against Fabiano and hugged him, showing the caring side of an athlete with a big heart.
