A surprising story, shared for the first time by his mother, Mrs. Adriana Nikolaou, amazed everyone at the 18th memorial of †Thanasis Nikolaou. This event took place on September 24, 2023, at the Metropolitan Church of Panagia Pantanassa in Limassol.
†Thanasis, who was just 26, graduated in architecture from the University of Melbourne. He was known for his strong morals, dignity, and patience. Sadly, his life ended during military service, leading his family to seek the truth for a long time.
During the memorial, his mother, Adriana Nikolaou, shared that an angel with a halo appeared in †Thanasis’s photo. This image reportedly matched details found during his exhumation, which the family sees as a miraculous sign. The priests present confirmed its importance and viewed it as divine intervention.

The memorial took place at the Metropolitan Church of Panagia Pantanassa in Limassol on 24.09.2023. I want to explain this miracle clearly to avoid any doubt! Some people hesitate to believe in miracles, so I will show photos that God guided me to take from different angles, where the Angel appears in the same spot!
This morning when I went to church, I placed †THANASIS’s photo with koliva and a bouquet on the table and took a photo where nothing showed up. It looked normal. During the memorial, they moved the table to the center of the church by the beautiful gate! I took a photo from the left side and then moved slightly to take another without noticing anything!
The next day when I looked at the photos, I was speechless! I quickly took screenshots because I thought the Angel would only appear for that moment and then vanish! Shocked and amazed, I rushed back to church—a beautiful temple—and searched everywhere for murals or icons but found nothing similar that could be a reflection!
The priests there saw me and when I explained what happened and showed them the photos, they said: “Don’t search my child; it’s from God! Even if it were a reflection, it’s still a miracle!” I’d encourage anyone curious to visit the church and check it out. If they find something that could be a reflection, I’d love to hear!
