To… play its strong “cards”
On Friday (21/11), Aris faces a challenging away match against the reigning champions Paphos, as part of the 11th round of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan.
A difficult mission indeed, but the Limassol team has its strong “cards” ready for this encounter and must play them on the pitch.
So far, Ratzkov’s team boasts the best defense in the league—alongside Omonia—with just 6 goals conceded, while also having the third-best attack with 22 goals scored, only one less than Omonia and APOEL.
Moreover, Aris has scored in nearly all of its matches, except for the game against Omonia at GSP, indicating that it knows how to find the back of the net, having so far a dozen different scorers.
The challenge against Paphos is expected to be particularly demanding, as they are the champions and one of the most consistent teams in the Cyprus League by Stoiximan. For this reason, a strong away performance will be essential, something that the “greens” desperately need, combining offensive efficiency with defensive concentration to have hopes of securing a positive result.
