Many drivers still ignore speed limits, putting themselves and others at risk. In one night, 126 traffic violations were recorded, with 55 for speeding.
Over 100 breathalyzer tests were done. Two drivers were caught for driving under the influence of alcohol, and one tested positive for drugs. During the traffic offense investigation, 14 vehicles were impounded. Many drivers still ignore speed limits, putting themselves and others at risk.
The police operations are part of a plan to improve road safety and cut down on accidents.
