New images from the snowy Troodos have been taken by the Kitasweather camera. They show the beautiful winter landscape after recent snowfall in the mountains. Some areas are still white, with chilly temperatures and more clouds.
Meteorologist Eric Kitas, from Kitasweather, shares a detailed weather forecast. He talks about weather changes and the dams, which have seen a lot of water from recent rains.
He says the weather will be partly cloudy, with local showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorms. In higher mountain areas, more snow is possible. Temperatures will be around or just above average for this time of year. Also, the rain is great for the island’s water supply, especially as dams are under pressure. The next few days are important for improving their levels.
