The weather in Cyprus is changing. Dust in the air, more clouds, and rain are on the way. It will feel more like winter, especially starting Tuesday.
Today, expect a mix of clouds, mainly medium and high ones. Winds will come from the northeast to southeast, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, and locally strong at 5 Beaufort. The sea will be rough. The temperature will reach about 22 degrees in the interior and coastal areas, and 17 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, there will still be some medium and high clouds. Winds will be light and variable at 3 Beaufort, and the sea will be slightly rough. The temperature will drop to 9 degrees in the interior, around 12 on the coast, and 7 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Tuesday, expect partly cloudy skies with local showers, mainly in mountainous and southwestern areas. On Wednesday, look out for rain and isolated thunderstorms, easing up in the afternoon. Snow may fall on the higher peaks of Troodos. On Thursday, there will be more clouds, mainly in mountainous areas, which could bring isolated showers. The temperature will gradually drop over these three days to around or just above average levels.
