The Cyprus Police Anti-Drug Service is running a big operation in Nicosia. This is part of their efforts to find and break up drug trafficking networks.
Reports say that the Anti-Drug Service found a large stash of drugs in a certain spot. It’s about 20 kilograms of cocaine and cannabis. Authorities are investigating to find out who is involved and if there are any connections. So far, two people have been arrested, and they found cocaine and cannabis.
In a different operation in Limassol, the Crime Prevention Unit searched the apartment of a 21-year-old after getting some tips. During the search, they discovered 263 captagon tablets under his bed, weighing around 44 grams in total. The 21-year-old was arrested for a serious offense and taken to the Anti-Drug Service offices for questioning. He reportedly made some claims that are being looked into, while the Anti-Drug Service continues to investigate both cases.
