Petrolina showed its support for education and innovation by being a Sustainable Energy Partner at the 4th Youth Tech Festival. This event took place on February 7 at The Warehouse by IT Quarter in Limassol.
The festival gathered students, teachers, and tech professionals. It created a space for sharing knowledge and ideas through fun activities and presentations.
Dinos Levkaritis Jr, Head of E-Mobility at Petrolina (Holdings) Public Limited and President of the Cyprus E-Mobility Association, joined a panel discussion titled “Academia & Businesses Partnership: Education is Everyone’s Business.” He talked about how important it is for education and business to work together.
He mentioned that moving towards e-mobility and energy change is closely tied to technology and digital systems. So, it’s vital to boost STEM skills from an early age. He also stressed that getting young people involved in these areas, along with university training, is key for future growth in the sector.
Through pcharge, their e-mobility brand, Petrolina provides internships and job opportunities for young people interested in the energy field.
Their involvement at the Youth Tech Festival is part of the company’s commitment to sustainable development. They actively support initiatives that build skills, spark creativity, and connect young people with modern technologies.
