The Municipality of Ayia Napa announced that the Carnival Parade “Ti Rio… Ti Lio!”, set for Sunday, February 22, 2026, in Liopetri, is canceled as a sign of respect for the victims of a recent tragic accident.

As we know, a serious accident happened early on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Three other young people were injured, with one in critical condition at Nicosia General Hospital.

The funeral for Christina Achilleos will be on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Resurrection in Sotira Famagusta. The family will not accept condolences.
