The popular travel site TripAdvisor just revealed its best beaches in the world and Europe for 2026. This is part of the annual Travellers’ Choice awards. Among the top European beaches, Fig Tree Bay in Protaras stands out, showing Cyprus’s fame as a beach destination.
This beach ranks 12th in Europe. It’s known for its blue waters, soft sand, and great visitor facilities. Fig Tree Bay is listed alongside five Greek beaches from Crete and Corfu, which take the top seven spots. Elafonissi and Bala Lagoon are at the top of the European list.
