Limassol: A three-month-old baby died in its sleep.
A heartbreaking tragedy happened early on Monday, March 2, in Limassol. Parents found their nearly three-month-old infant unresponsive.
Initial reports say that shortly after midnight, the mother fed and checked on the baby. Then, the parents took the child to bed and fell asleep. Around 7:00 AM, they woke up and found the baby not responding. They rushed the child to Limassol General Hospital, where doctors confirmed the death. Initial checks showed no external injuries. An autopsy is scheduled for today with Angeliki Papetta, head of the Forensic Service, to determine the cause of death. Authorities are looking into the case.
