The Cyprus Fire Service will hold a readiness exercise today, Friday, March 6, in Limassol. This is part of their training to improve member readiness.
From 10:00 to 11:00, an exercise called “Firefighting and Rescue from a Multi-story Building” will happen. Fire Stations from the Limassol district will participate. The exercise will take place at the “Limassol Del Mar” building on King George I Avenue in the Germasogeia area. Fire trucks will be mobilized in the area, so nearby citizens may notice them.
The Fire Service wants to reassure everyone that this is a planned training exercise and there is no need for concern.
