Goalkeeper Kohn Shines with Second Clean Sheet

στιγμιότυπο Δεύτερη συμμετοχή δεύτερο clean sheet

Sofronis Avgousti’s choice to bring in Philipp Kohn instead of Peter Leuwenberg is really paying off.

The German goalkeeper has played two matches and kept two clean sheets, leading to two wins.

His role was key, especially in the derby against Omonia. In the 41st minute of the Sunday match, he made an incredible save that could be the best of the year, stopping a potential equalizer.

Kohn pulled off an amazing save on Semedo’s overhead kick, keeping his team ahead with a valuable 1-0 lead. The ball was heading straight for the net, but Kohn showed off his quick reflexes and skill by deflecting it out for a corner.

It’s no wonder he celebrated this save like a goal, and he had every right to, as it was crucial for the match’s outcome.

He also made at least two more important saves in the second half, stopping shots from Chatzigiovanis and Tankovic in the 65th and 70th minutes respectively.
