We’re all set: Final tests for the victory plan!
Omonia wraps up its prep this afternoon for the match against Dynamo Kyiv.
The team takes on the Ukrainian side on Thursday (19:45) at GSP Stadium in the 4th round of the League Phase of the Conference League. This game is crucial for our hopes of qualifying, depending on how it goes.
Omonia aims to grab its first win in this phase for several reasons. We want to keep our qualification hopes alive, bounce back after the loss in Limassol, and gain some financial benefits.
Our team has two draws and one loss, giving us a total of two points. The algorithm says we need about five more points. With three games left, the match against Dynamo Kyiv feels like a final.
We’re not sure how much rotation Berg will make, but changes are likely. On the bright side, except for Tankovic, Musialowski, and Stepinski who are out of the European list, everyone else is available as Eiting and Koulibaly are training normally.
