President Nikos Christodoulides announced a small cabinet reshuffle today. He made changes in important ministries and positions. Using his constitutional powers, the President appointed Michalis Damianou as the new Minister of Energy, Commerce, and Industry. Marinos Mussiouttas will take over the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance.
Konstantinos Fytiris is now the Minister of Justice and Public Order. Neophytos Charalambides will lead the Ministry of Health. Klea Chatzistefanou Papaellina is the new Deputy Minister of Social Welfare, and Marios Chartsiotis becomes the new Commissioner of the Presidency.
The swearing-in ceremony is set for Monday, December 8, 2025. The President thanked the outgoing members of the government for their hard work and cooperation.
