Steve at Akrotiri… The dream of the Anglo-Cypriot coach
Steve Konstantinidis is starting his job in Akrotiri. He’s not at the British bases, even though he speaks English well. Instead, he’s with the local team APEA.
This team plays in the second division and will mainly focus on staying in the league during its first season.
The Anglo-Cypriot coach has traveled a lot and worked in many countries. His last job was in Pakistan, where he was the head coach of the national team until last July.
The 63-year-old coach has one big dream: he wishes he could have led Cyprus’s national team.
