According to Ms. Nikolaou, the same authorities who should have clarified the case decided in just ten minutes to treat it as a “minor infraction.” They gave the job to an inexperienced police officer instead of the Criminal Investigation Department. “No fingerprints, no DNA… not even the basics,” she points out, showing that those responsible remain free without facing any consequences.

“We will not let this crime go unpunished, no matter how long it takes,” Andriana Nikolaou insists, noting that their fight continues in Europe and in people’s hearts. “There is also Europe. There is also God who knows and judges fairly.”
