Investigations are ongoing to find out who illegally accessed personal data of patients and employees at the Cyprus Bank Oncology Center, and may disclose it.
Since this incident was discovered, the Center has reported it to the Police, notified the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection and the Digital Security Authority, and is working with expert teams of engineers and cybersecurity consultants. They have already put in place extra measures to boost system security.
The Center is operating normally, fully coordinated and following the guidance of the relevant authorities, dedicated to protecting the personal data of patients and employees.
