Sofronis Avgousti was really disappointed, not just by the loss but also by how his team played against Aris. In a straightforward press conference, he said that the team’s progress in the first 14 matches of the Cyprus League By Stoiximan is not good enough.
The blue and whites surprised us lately. After a big win over Omonia, they seemed to be getting better.
But they struggled in the first hour of the match against AEL and also in the last two games against Anorthosis and Aris.
Looking at Avgousti’s attitude and what he said at the press conference, it seems he doesn’t know exactly what’s causing the team to lose its way.
