It’s still unclear if Anorthosis will make moves during the winter transfer window, but some names are already popping up.
One of these is a familiar face: Tornike Okriashvili.
According to LaGazzetta.ge, the Famagusta team is talking with Okriashvili, who wants to get back on the field after an 8-month break.
His fellow Georgians say that if all goes well, Okriashvili will join Anorthosis this winter.
It’s important to mention that the Georgian midfielder last played for Gagra on April 24, 2025. They lost 2-1 to Torpedo Kutaisi, and he played for 54 minutes. Since then, he hasn’t played and ended the season without a team.
Okriashvili wore the Anorthosis jersey for two seasons (2019-20 and 2020-21) under coach Timur Ketsbaia, and they won the Cyprus Cup together.
He made 34 league appearances for the team and scored 12 goals.
