Changes at AEK keep coming. After Andros Karapatakis resigned, the whole Board of Directors followed. Xavi Roca also stepped down, and now Imanol Idiakez is no longer with us.
Here’s the official statement from AEK:
“AEK Larnaca announces that we are parting ways with coach Imanol Idiakez. This was his third time with our team.
This season, he helped the team win the Super Cup and reach the round of 16 in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
We sincerely thank Mr. Idiakez for all he has done for AEK and wish him success in his future career and personal life.
Along with Imanol Idiakez, assistant coach Inigo Idiakez is also leaving.”
