Aglantzia is getting ready for the JOEY Carnival 2026! Get ready for music, dance, colors, and fun for everyone.
The grand Carnival Parade will take place on Sunday, February 15, at 11:30 a.m.. It starts at Keryneias Avenue and Glafkos Clerides and ends at Karava Street.
More than 8,000 carnival participants are expected to join in. The carnival float “tram” of Tsiknopempti will make it even more exciting as it moves through the walled city and finishes at Lellos Demetriades Square (CYENS) at 12:00 p.m.
The organizers encourage everyone to join in and follow the Police’s instructions for a smooth event. The Aglantzia Carnival is now in its 16th year, becoming a beloved part of Nicosia’s cultural scene, spreading joy and creativity.
