The OEB has issued guidance to businesses and organisations on the AHK+ grant scheme, which aims to improve energy efficiency and reduce electricity costs.
The programme focuses on two main tracks: LED lighting replacement for businesses and organisations, and replacement of old air-conditioning units in vulnerable households with high-efficiency models.
For lighting, grants are set at €30 per 60x60cm LED panel and €20 per 17cm round LED fixture. For air conditioners, support ranges from €170 to €470 per unit depending on capacity, with mandatory recycling of old units.
The total budget is €5.5 million. The scheme remains open until 30 September 2028 or until available funds are exhausted.
