Visitors to Akamas will face a temporary closure of the forest road “Loutra tis Afroditis – Fontana Amorosa” while maintenance works are carried out on the road surface. The Department of Forests said the route in Akamas National Forest Park will be closed to the public on Tuesday, 24 February, and Wednesday, 25 February 2026.
Authorities say the works are necessary and apologized for the inconvenience. The Department added that it will issue a further update if the works finish earlier than planned or if an extension becomes necessary.
