The Alkinoos Artemiou Foundation, backed by the Omonoia Foundation, served the first meal of love for 2026 at Makario Hospital, kicking off the new year with a kind gesture.
The meal was provided on New Year’s Day to children in Makario Hospital and their families, thanks to Zorbas Bakeries for supplying the food. The Alkinoos Artemiou Foundation wished all children a quick recovery, good health, and lots of smiles. They also highlighted the need for the State to keep its promises to children and families in need, just like a modern welfare state should.
This effort is part of the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to social support, wrapping up 2025 and starting 2026 with real help for hospitalized kids.
