Cyprus announced a new humanitarian shipment to Gaza under the Amalthea plan. The total load reaches 900 tons, and distribution to civilians in need has already started.
According to official statements, the mission was coordinated through international and EU support mechanisms. UN bodies, the United Arab Emirates, and France contributed to the route, with the EU Civil Protection Mechanism used in the operation.
The foreign minister said Cyprus aims to act as a coordination bridge between the European Union and the wider region. He stressed that the humanitarian track remains central while conditions in Gaza stay critical.
The shipment includes medical equipment, neonatal incubators, shelter supplies, and basic food items. With this mission, Nicosia seeks to keep aid flows stable as urgent needs continue.
