The police announced that Ioanna Fotiou, 43, from Paphos, is wanted to help with investigations. She responded in her own way on social media, saying that “the warrants can range from 13 to 53,” and she continues to post as usual.
She publicly replied on her platforms, saying she is not hiding and commented on the case after the police announcement. The police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
“I know how many warrants I have… You didn’t just issue them now… you decided this because many people are watching the videos. I’m also talking to the Nicosia CID. Call me whenever you want… Last time I had 13 warrants; if you want, make them 53… Go ahead… we continue as usual…“
Ioanna Fotiou, known as Annie Alexui on social media, often shares videos on her page called “Justice or Death – Annie Alexui,” where she calls herself a comedian.
Her page has about 10,000 followers. Through her posts, she often criticizes the police and issues she believes reflect problems in Cypriot society. She claims she is not currently in Cyprus but in Russia, which she has also shared online.
