“The Apollon Limassol Club is very pleased with the amazing success of the official dinner on Saturday, March 21, 2026. The huge and enthusiastic turnout from Apollon’s supporters went beyond our expectations. This shows the strong and lasting connection between the Club and its community. The high demand for participation is both an honor and a responsibility for us to keep working with dedication.
As we celebrate 72 years of proud history, the evening honored those whose presence and contributions have shaped our Club’s journey. These are people who have served and continue to serve Apollon with passion and commitment.
During the event, Mr. Heinrich Schoeller, President of Columbia Group, was honored along with Mr. Marios Lefkaritis for their valuable contributions. The Kirzis family was also recognized for their important support to both the Club and its football department. A special moment came when we posthumously honored the late Mr. Pambos Georgiades, a leader who dedicated his life to Apollon. Additionally, Mr. Andreas Marangos, President of Apollon Ladies, was celebrated for his leadership in advancing our women’s football team. Mr. Panos Georgakis was also honored for his significant contributions to women’s volleyball and the Club.
The evening was filled with emotion, pride, and strong Apollon spirit. It confirmed that our Club’s past, present, and future are deeply connected to its people. A big thank you to everyone who helped make this evening a success, including the artists and singers who provided wonderful entertainment.
