Nikos Kirzis talked openly about money issues during a meeting with Apollon fans.
The football company’s president answered a fan’s question about the total debt and shared the administration’s goals.
He specifically mentioned:
“We need to make the club’s finances better. The total debt is over €20 million. Out of this, €8.5 million is for taxes and social insurance. Specifically, €5.5 million is in tax payments spread over 142 installments, while the other €3 million is for social insurance. About €5 million is from bank loans. The rest comes from my personal loans, creditors, and players. Our plan will be long-term at all levels. We aim to improve so we can compete with other teams. This year’s main goal is to qualify for Europe.”
