Apollon confirmed their predictions and won against Anorthosis, securing a 2-0 victory on Wednesday evening (14/01) at Alphamega Stadium. This was the seventh straight qualification for the Limassol team over the Famagusta team in the cup competition.
As we mentioned before, the last time the ‘Lady’ knocked out Apollon from the cup was in the 2007-08 season.
Since then, Limassol’s ‘blue and whites’ have celebrated qualification in all seven meetings against Famagusta’s ‘blue and whites’.
