Apostolos Parellis, Cyprus’s top discus thrower, has announced his retirement from sports, ending a great career filled with achievements.
The highlight of his career was at the Rio Olympics in 2016, where he placed 8th, making his mark internationally. Even though he is done with competitions, Apostolos stays active in sports as a coach. He shares his knowledge and experience with young athletes. The Cyprus Sports Organization has always supported him, valuing his contributions to Cypriot sports.
His new coaching journey is expected to be just as successful, as Apostolos Parellis continues to inspire and guide future champions from Cyprus.
