The Cyprus Theatre Organization is now accepting applications for the General Director position. They are looking for candidates with strong artistic and management skills.
This role comes with a private law contract that can last up to five years, following current laws. The salary is between pay scales A15 and A16, with a top annual salary of €86,274. This also includes a cost-of-living allowance and any approved raises.
The General Director will organize, manage, and supervise all activities of the organization. This means handling both administrative and artistic tasks and carrying out the Board of Directors’ decisions. Responsibilities include preparing the repertoire, overseeing productions, managing staff issues, and taking care of the organization’s infrastructure.
To apply, you need a university degree in relevant fields, at least ten years of theater experience—five in supervisory roles—excellent Greek skills, and good knowledge of English, French, or German.
