Hernán Losada had a big interview with Argentine media. He talked about how he gets players to join the Cypriot league.
He specifically mentioned:
“From a competitive view, playing in European competitions gives great exposure. If you have a good season, you can move to bigger leagues like Greece or Turkey. There are clubs with solid facilities that pay on time. The quality of life is nice because the living standards are high and the weather is mild all year. There’s an Argentinian here, Enzo Cabrera from AEK Larnaca, who is doing really well. He has scored about 15 goals and is one of the top scorers in the league. Just like I have Dutch, Czech, Greek, an Englishman, and a Frenchman on my team, there are many South Americans in the league; they adapt quickly. Language isn’t a problem. They speak Greek, but English is common too. I give my talks and analyses in English, and from my time in Belgium, I also speak French and Dutch… plus a bit of Italian and German.”
