From Saturday, January 17 to Tuesday, January 20, 2026, Ayia Napa will be buzzing with excitement during the 3rd International Winter Swimmers Festival! This festival, organized by the Municipality of Ayia Napa and the Ayia Napa Winter Swimmers Club, celebrates winter swimming in style.
The festival features unique events that promote culture, foster a love for the sea, and showcase Ayia Napa as a great spot to visit in both summer and winter.
This year, the festival is expanding to four days, offering a fun-filled program of activities for everyone.
The main event will happen on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at “Makronisos” beach, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The Honorable Minister of Interior, Mr. Konstantinos Ioannou, and the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannettou, will be there to join the festivities.
At the event, they will unveil the relief emblem of the Ayia Napa Winter Swimmers Club, marking a special moment for the club at “Makronisos” beach.
The festival promises a rich and diverse program, including swimming, Tai Chi and Yoga classes, a sand art competition, SUP (Stand Up Paddle) demonstrations, talks, and many more fun activities listed in the program.
