A bell was stolen from the small Saint George chapel in the “Germaninas” area of Geroskipou, according to a police complaint filed on 19 March 2026.
According to available information, the bell had been donated to the church about 25 years ago.
The donor was the one who contacted the authorities to report the theft and appealed to whoever removed the bell to return it to the chapel.
He also asked anyone with relevant information to contact either the Geroskipou municipality or the police.
