Tonia Kaziani, born in 1945 on Andros, died on Tuesday, January 6, at the age of 80. She starred in many films during the 1970s, like “My Brothers, Vagabonds, Birds,” “Rebel Popolaros,” “The Tough Guy with the Tricycle” (1972), and “Mr. Giorgis is Trained” (1977), which was Finos Film’s last movie.
Her final TV appearance was in 2007 in the series “Blindfly” on ANT1.
In 1970, she met her husband, actor Giorgos Tzortzis, while filming “A German in Kalavryta.” They both starred in the series “Unknown War” and started their own theater company, producing international works. They had a daughter named Eugenia.
