The charity organization ‘ANAZO’ was created from personal struggle. It now turns pain into support for others.
The name ‘ANAZO’ stands for a fresh start and the human ability to rise after every crisis. It represents living with dignity and hope. The founder and President of the organization, Anastasia Panayiotou, shared her story at the CDA facilities in Paphos. She faced a life-threatening brain aneurysm and said: “A second chance is not just a gift. It is a responsibility. A responsibility to show that no one should feel alone.”
The ‘second chance’ she received inspired the creation of ‘ANAZO’. This organization aims to turn personal struggles into strength for those in need. They focus on providing practical help to vulnerable groups, health support, psychological reinforcement, and promoting volunteerism. They create a network of solidarity for those who need it.
The Board of Directors of ‘ANAZO’ includes President Anastasia Panayiotou, Vice President Marios Georgiou, Secretary George Yiallouris, Assistant Secretary Georgia Themistocleous, Treasurer Dimitris Charalambous, and Assistant Myria Georgiou. Council members are Kalliopi Panayiotou, Paraskevi Charalambous, Elena Kanari, Pavlos Marinos, and Sikkis Andreas. Together, they bring experience, willingness to help, and a vision to support everyone in need.

The president ended her speech with a strong message: “Life is not measured only by how long we live… It is measured by how many people we help continue living with hope. We want to give everyone the strength to say: I am not alone. I do not give up. I rise again. I continue. ANAZO.”
