The Government will announce new measures today to tackle the energy crisis and rising costs. The President of the Republic will make a statement about it.
Nikos Christodoulides said these measures will focus on all sectors affected by the geopolitical situation in the Middle East, including tourism.
He pointed out that the ability to introduce new measures depends on fiscal stability. He noted that interventions over €100 million are already in place.
At the same time, he mentioned the possibility of more support in the future if needed. He highlighted that the Government has prepared backup plans to handle the crisis.
