The area is currently under weak high pressure. Starting Thursday, weak low pressure will move in. Dust will also be seen in the atmosphere at times.
Today, expect mostly clear skies with some clouds popping up. Winds will mainly come from the northeast to east, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, and locally up to 5 Beaufort.
The sea will be a bit rough in the west and rougher in other coastal areas. Temperatures will reach about 20 degrees inland, 21 degrees on the coast, and 8 degrees in the higher mountains.
During the night, there will be more high clouds at times. Winds will blow mainly from the north to northeast at 3 to 4 Beaufort, locally up to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough and locally rough in windward areas.
The temperature will drop to 6 degrees inland, around 10 degrees on the coast, and about 2 degrees in the higher mountains, where local frost may form.
On Thursday and Friday, expect more clouds with a chance of isolated rain, especially in mountainous areas. Sleet or snow may fall on the higher peaks of Troodos.
On Saturday, the weather will be mostly cloudy with local showers. The temperature will stay slightly above normal until Friday but will drop a bit on Saturday.
