Coach Javi Rojada of Freedom24 Krasava ENY gave an interview to Radio Marca Asturias.
The Spanish coach spoke highly of Cyprus and its football in general.
“Cyprus is a very comfortable country to live in, and the football is much more organized than people think. Here, every club has many training fields and sports facilities that I haven’t seen yet in Spain,” he initially noted. He then added about his presence in the Ypsonas team:
“We are in a league with 14 teams where three are relegated, with the second phase and play-outs being very tough. Our last game against Olympiakos was crucial to stay ‘alive,’ and now we are one match away from escaping the bottom three.”
Regarding transfers, he said: “We will acquire a forward and a midfielder with experience. The team is working on this.”
Concluding, he spoke about his decision to continue his career in Cyprus: “Leaving Spain to come to Cyprus was the right choice.”
